We believe that’s why back then we successfully integrated Alibaba’s platform inside MercadoLibre, so sellers could directly source suppliers in China without switching from one site to the other, we broadcasted in Facebook the first live-streaming event in Latin America for Cardon and started experimenting with different technologies and developing our own Advertising Network. Then we hired more and more IT specialist, coders, developers, and almost all our profits went back to grow in this area.
Fast forward a couple of years and we started collecting data. We barely had algorithms to sort it out, but we knew we’d be there soon enough.
And thanks to this hard work we finally developed our ad server, our own DMP, our own cross-platform / programmatic exchange (the first in Latin America), our DSP and our SSP, reinforcing our position as the leading media company in the region.
Our own team of developers, working with proprietary AI and algorithms, built a state-of-the-art scalable platform that provides control, real-time analytics and powerful insights to our customers.
It allows us to perform processing in microseconds, less than 15ms bid processing and response time, thanks to counting with several data centers across the globe, for geo-relevant efficiency.
And what’s more, our engine is constantly learning, acquiring and processing behavior and profiles expanding our universe of available segments and customization capabilities, thanks among other factors to our team of experts in Predictive Model Markup Language.
